Maryborough Airport (IATA: MBH, ICAO: YMYB) is located approximately three kilometers north of the town centre. The airport serves as a small regional airport serving Maryborough and Rainbow Bay. However, increasing competition with Hervey Bay Airport has led to a decrease in commercial air traffic. At the current moement, REX has suspended services to Brisbane due to a severe pilot shortage. Qantaslink currently offers direct services to Brisbane from Hervey Bay while Jetstar and Virgin Blue offer daily services to Sydney Airport.
The airport is primarily used by the Maryborough Aero Club.
