Mary Stein

Mary Stein (born in Marquette, Michigan) is a healer and recurring actress.

Mary was born in Marquette, Michigan. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to pursue an acting career, which was influenced by Maggie Smith. She began a vaudeville career where she performed in plays and eventually dance numbers.

Following graduation from the Juilliard School, Mary began acting in 1990, where she appeared in the film Alice as an uncredited nun. She began to spread her career into more famous roles, including Miss Floom in Babe: Pig in the City and Miss Rue Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Some of her well-known television roles include Ms. Sneed on General Hospital and Gerda in Providence.

Mary has also specialized in the meditative arts, practicing Sat Nam Rasayan, both kundalini and ashtanga yoga. She has contributed to Los Angeles based charity programs and helps kids become high-achievers and learn how to use self-esteem.
