Mary Garrett

Mary Garrett (5 March 1854 - 1915) was an American suffragist and philanthropist.

Mary Garrett closely associated with the establishment of Bryn Mawr College for women. At her death, she gave $15,000,000 to M. Carey Thomas, the president of Bryn Mawr College, her lesbian lover.[1]
