Mary B White

Mary Bayard White is a glass artist. She studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts obtaining a BFA Ceramics and then an MFA Glass in 1982. She owned and operated a hot glass studio, Blanca Glass until 1986 when she became head of the glass program at San Jose State University in California, USA. As of 2008 she is devoting her teaching and application to the use of recycled materials in glass work; this use of recycled materials complements some themes in her work addressing ecological and natural resource themes.
