Marvin Gaye at the Copa was the lost live album recorded by Motown legend Marvin Gaye during the heyday of Motown performers headlining at New York's legendary Copacabana club. The Supremes, Sam Cooke & later The Temptations had achieved in releasing live albums from their shows there but Gaye's album was shelved and unreleased for nearly four decades until Hip-O Select decided to release the album to showcase Gaye's vocal talents as he took after standards and covers of hits made famous by idols like Nat "King" Cole. The album was originally tended for release in 1967 but was finally released earlier in 2005.
