Marvin Farber

Marvin Farber (December 14, 1901, Buffalo, New York - 1980, Minneapolis) was an American philosopher. He was Professor Emeritus at the University at Buffalo, and was Chairman of the Department of Philosophy there from 1937 to 1961. He founded the journal Philosophy and Phenomenological Research in 1940, and served as its editor until 1980. He was the older brother of cancer researcher Sidney Farber.
