Martz Communications Group
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Martz Communications Group is a American radio broadcasting company, which operates three radio stations in the St. Lawrence River area of New York.
The company's primary business strategy is to target the larger Canadian markets, such as Brockville, Cornwall, Ottawa and Montreal, which lay within the broadcast range of its stations. The Canadian company Standard Broadcasting is also a minority shareholder in Martz. Standard's ownership stake in Martz was not part of that company's sale of most of its broadcasting assets to Astral Media in 2007.
The company owned nine stations in the area until February 1, 2008, when six of its stations were acquired by the Stephens Media Group.
