Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Nacionalinė Martyno Mažvydo biblioteka) is the national library of Lithuania, situated in Vilnius' Gediminas Avenue. It is a culture and information agency pursuing the mission of preservation of published cultural heritage of Lithuania for the future generations; security of its dissemination and accessibility to Lithuanian and foreign users; active participation in the knowledge society creation process; development of its activities and services using modern information technologies; paying attention to the development of activities of state libraries and their integration into the world library system, and refinement of professional qualification in the fields of library science, bibliography, information and book science on purpose to assist the learning and development process of each Lithuanian citizen.
NLL resources are available to Lithuanian and foreign citizens without restrictions. These holdings serve to satisfy research, educational, informational and cultural requirements of the users.
