Martyn Wood

Martyn Wood is a former England international rugby union player. He also played for the British and Irish Lions on their 2001 tour of Australia. He is the second cousin to comedian and actress Victoria Wood.

Matyn broke his neck in a freak trampolening accident in 2005, which caused him to retire from proffessional rugby. After going on a stag trip to Prague and seeing the fate of the many exploited prostitutes in that city Martyn returned to the UK and started working for several charities that offer help and support to sex workers in the Harrogate area.
