Marty Tadman is a starting safety on Boise State's 2006-2007 Fiesta Bowl winning team, at which he earned the Defensive player of the Game award. He is covered with many Christian tattoos and is considered one of the better players on the team. His teammates sometimes refer to him as M-Tad. In the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, Marty Tadman had two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Marty also is a strong Christian. He leads an on-campus Christian group currently called Synergy at BSU and works at a church.
