Martin William Wallace

Martin William Wallace is the current Suffragan Bishop of Selby [1]. He was born on 16 November 1948 and educated at King’s College, London and St Augustine’s Theological College, Canterbury[2].Ordained in 1972 he began his career with a Curacy at St Alban Attercliffe in the Diocese of Sheffield [3] and was then successively Vicar of St Mark, Forest Gate, Rural Dean of Newham and Archdeacon of Colchester before ascending to the Episcopate[4]-a post he currently holds. A noted author[5] he is also a keen garden designer[6].
