Martin Smedberg

Martin Smedberg (born 1 May 1984 in Norrköping) is a Swedish football midfielder. Although born in Norrköping, his family moved to Gothenburg when he was very young and he was subsequently raised there.
After playing for Gunnilse IS, he joined IFK Göteborg in 2004. In mid-season 2005 Smedberg was loaned out to Västra Frölunda IF. After being loaned out to Ljungskile SK during the 2006 season, he signed for Ljungskile SK as his contract with IFK Göteborg ended after the 2006 season.
