Martin Mutumba (born 1985) is a Swedish football striker currently playing for F.C. International Turku in Finland. His family have roots in Uganda. He wears the squad number 10.

He is second cousin with footballer Moses Nsebuga who played for IF Elfsborg in the ‘90’s.

Martin Mutumba started playing for Vasalands IK as a young child, but joined the youth team of one of Sweden’s best known clubs AIK in 1999. In the fall of 2002 he made his first appearance with the senior squad against Kalmar FF, playing the last 5 minutes of the game. In 2004 AIK wanted Martin to play with Café Opera ,a football team they had a close collaboration with.[1] Before this was able to materialize Martin broke his leg while playing in an indoor tournament for fun with some neighbors.[2]

After rehabilitating his leg and overcoming some personal problems he joined the Finnish club FC Inter in 2005. While playing with AIK he was known for dribbling a lot, during his time with FC Inter Turku he has really become a team player.

When the Finnish season ended Martin tried out for Spanish club club Deportivo de La Coruña [3], his old stomping grounds AIK. [4] [5] and Scottich Premiere league club Hibernian. [6] Martin himself reported that he turned down a deal from Deportivo de La Coruña and British media claimed he signed a short term contract with Hibernian. In the end he signed with Superettan club Väsby United. [7] [8]

He has never played for the senior national squad. However, Martin has played games for the Swedish national teams youth squads such as the under 15 and under 17.

In 2003 Martin collaborated on the book Svartskallar - så funkar vi (Black-heads--this is how we work) where 11 young people from multicultural and minority backgrounds talk about what it is like to be of immigrant background in modern Swedish society.

Martin loves music is a huge fan of reggea, hip hop and samba. He has also released rap tracks under the name M9.[9]
