Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, named after Martin Luther King, Jr., was founded to educate dropouts and at-risk students.

All GCSC students from pre-Kindergarten through the 12 grade are required to wear school uniforms. [1] Starting the 2007-2008 Academic School year, all schools will follow the new "school uniform" policy.
