Martin Jones

Martin Jones is a British concert pianist, born Feb 4th 1940, in Witney, England. Studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London under Guido Agosti, Guy Jonson, and Gordon Green [1]. Highly regarded since debuting on the international arena when he won the Dame Myra Hess award in 1968.[2]

Jones has worked with various orchestras throughout the world including: the London Festival Orchestra; the Halle Orchestra; the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra; and the BBC Welsh Orchestra

Jones provided the piano in the Oscar nominated recording for the film of Howard's End, performing Percy Grainger's Bridal Lullaby and Mock Morris. The score was by Richard Robbins.
