Martin Hearne, also referred to under his pen name, John M. Hearne, is an Irish author, topical writing editor, lecturer and socialite personality.
His debut book was published in 2006, entitled "Thomas Francis Meagher: The Making of an Irish American". This book was the first to deal with Meagher in depth in over 50 years. The book was initially very well received and has since become critically acclaimed. It is known that Hearne is currently working on at least two other additional projects.
Hearne is also a lecturer and teacher of Economics and History in his native Waterford and occasionally in the United States, as well as other countries.
