Martin Brady

Martin Brady (born 7 May 1947) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician from County Cavan. He is a member of the 23rd Seanad Éireann, to which he was nominated by the Taoiseach on 3 August 2007.
Brady is a former Teachta Dála (TD) for the constituency of Dublin North East. Born in Virginia, County Cavan, Brady was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 1997 general election and retained his seat at the 2002 general election. He lost his seat at the 2007 general election and was also unsuccessful in the Seanad elections for the Labour Panel in 2007.
