Martel Maxwell

Martel Maxwell-Stevenson (known as Martel Maxwell) is a newspaper columnist from Broughty Ferry, Scotland.
After qualifying with a law degree, Maxwell joined The Sun newspaper in 1999 as their first graduate trainee.[citation needed] She became a showbiz writer for the Rupert Murdoch-owned publication's "Bizarre" desk.
Maxwell has a weekly opinion column in The Scottish Sun, and hosted a live show on local Edinburgh-based radio station Talk 107 until made redundant in 2008. She presented a short-lived car programme, Drivetime, in 2007 on STV with news reader Stephen Jardine.
