Marsiling Primary School

Marsiling Primary School (simplified Chinese: 马西岭小学) is a government primary school in Woodlands, Singapore.
First established in 1958, Marsiling Primary School moved to its present premises in June 1986. The school has a current intake of 1,800 pupils, and the school's upgrading under the Ministry of Education's Programme for Rebuilding and IMproving Existing schools (PRIME) was completed in 2003.

Life Sciences is being developed as a school niche. Its pupils are actively engaged in the ‘Guppy breeding' project and the ‘Herbs and Spices' project. The school promotes the use of IT in order to make learning more stimulating and to provide pupils with the skills and knowledge relevant for a highly technological age. Hence it is moving into e-journalism and building an E-studio. The Aesthetics are actively promoted. There is a vibrant display of pupils' artwork and through the Recess Xpress, music appreciation is encouraged through performances by pupils. With the completion of PRIME, the school now boasts of many state of the art facilities for teaching and learning. Together with these, the school has developed many activity corners such as the Gateway, the Arts Central and The Link@Marsiling (NE Corner).
