Marshall Law is a heavy metal band from Birmingham, England. The group formed in 1988. Their albums include Marshall Law, Power Game, Law in the Raw, Metal Detector, Warning from History and Power Crazy.

Andy Pyke is the vocalist/frontman for Birmingham,UK Metalheads MARSHALL LAW. Andy was born Northampton, England 1968 at the tender age of 15 he fronted NWBHM BAND DETROIT. Detroit recorded 2 demos which regularly made the sounds demo charts as high as number three. The band consisted of Jon Mee [ex Geezer Butler] drums, Jon Kelly on Bass, Pat Kelly [rip] Lg, and Martin Tupps lg. Was briefly a member of Hurt with Pete and Paul Judd, Pat Shields, Gary Tompson and Tony Fennell. Left to go and play in Europe with Damien.

Damien was based in Frankfurt and comprised of Neil Finnegan,Tiny , Tony Clarke. Toured Germany and recorded Cold Fingers album, never released. Andy was then headhunted by Viva and went to live in Hannover,Germany.

In 1988 Marshall Law was formed by Andy and Dave Martin, the band recorded demos and was sold at live shows over 5000 copies sold in the uk and the world. Marshall Law then recorded and released their debut album in 1989/90 and was put out in Europe via Heavy Metal records,and distributed via BMg. Gaining world wide critical acclaim. European tours followed and so did their second album 'Powergame' reaching number 6 in the jap album charts. Selling 33,000 copies in the first few weeks. Law in the Raw was released in 1997 through Neat Metal. Metal Detector was released in 1998 followed by the classic 'Warning from History' in 1999. This also seen Marshall LAW again hit europe with Metal Church and Thunderhead. Also playing with Pretty Maids, Dio, Motorhead, Hammerfall, WASP. However due to illness and family berevement Marshall Law took time out. Sanctuary records released a best of album in 2003 which gain world wide interest. So the ball started to roll again 'AXIS OF POWER' was recorded and was never released 2005. Then a series of Line up changes came about and the band looked to re-branding the name and image. MARSHALL LAW re-surfaced again in 2007 and will be releasing 'Razorhead' in September 2008. Andy also dj's every Monday evening between 7-9pm on rock247online.
