In Bolivia, the title Marshal is a military distinction, not a military rank and it is granted to generals for exceptional achievements and it is used to denote a senior military leader.

There were only four in the history of Bolivia:
- Andrés de Santa Cruz, Marshal of Zepita.
- Bernardino Bilbao Rioja, Marshal of Kilometer 7.
- José Ballivián, Marshal of Ingavi.
- Otto Philipp Braun, Marshal of Montenegro.
