[edit] Notes

  • The vocals of "Ares" are not in any actual language, though the album's booklet provides lyrics for the song.
  • An acoustic re-recording of "Dears" later appeared on the album Love Letter.
  • Live recordings of most songs from Mars can be found on the first Platinum Box.
  • Two of the album's tracks, "Emu ~For My Dear~" (絵夢〜for my dear〜?) and "U+K" were dedicated to the memory of the late Kami, the drummer of Malice Mizer, and a close friend of Gackt's. Gackt had been on tour at the time of his passing, and was unable to attend his funeral as he was unaware of the tragedy.
