- Live recordings of most songs from Mars can be found on the first Platinum Box.
- Two of the album's tracks, "Emu ~For My Dear~" (絵夢〜for my dear〜, "Emu ~For My Dear~"?) and "U+K" were dedicated to the memory of the late Kami, the drummer of Malice Mizer, and a close friend of Gackt's. Gackt had been on tour at the time of his passing, and was unable to attend his funeral as he was unaware of the tragedy.
