Marquis Cooper (born March 11, 1982 in Mesa, Arizona) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washington.

Cooper was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 3rd round (79th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. He was released on September 2 and signed with the Vikings on September 5, who also released him on October 30, 2006. On October 31, 2006 the Steelers claimed him off waivers and released him on December 5, 2006. On December 12, 2006 he signed with the Seahawks. On July 27, 2007 the Seahawks released him. On July 30, 2007 the Steelers claimed him off waivers from the Seahawks. On September 19, 2007 he was released by the Steelers. On November 27, 2007, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars released Cooper on December 8, 2007 and the Steelers re-signed him two days later.
