Marondera High

Marondera High School is a co-educational secondary school located one and half miles from the Marondera town centre, in Mashonaland East Province, Zimbabwe. The school was established in 1965.
This school is one of the first schools in Marandellas. It shares fences with its neighbour the Nagel House Girls High School.
The school is well known for sports and academic studies. Students of the school are nicknamed the Nderas.

History
Founded in 1965 as Marandellas High School, the school catered for the Marandellas farming community and the surrounding towns. The school has five boarding houses named after English counties. The boarding houses are Cumberland, Hampshire and Sussex for boys and Kent and Cornwell for girls. The games houses (Nehanda,Chaminuka, Tongogara and Monomotapa,) are named after popular heroes from Africa. The school is renowned of producing sports persons, body builders, engineers, doctors, leaders etc.
