Marolus

Saint Marolus (Italian: San Marolo, Marole) (408-423) was an early bishop of Milan. Of Syrian origin, he was elected bishop of Milan in 408 by Innocent I. He was bishop during an invasion of Italy by the Visigoths. He was buried in San Nazaro.

He is praised by the poet Magnus Felix Ennodius.[1]
