Marnavirus is the only known genus within the family Marnaviridae. Virions consist of a round, non-enveloped capsid with icosahedral symmetry. The capsid is isometric.
The genome is a non-segmented single molecule of positive-sense, single-stranded RNA of about 9000 nucleotides in length[1].
