Marmelade is the name of a town, arrondissement, and former duchy in the Artibonite department of Haïti. The arrondissement of Marmelade includes two communes: Saint Michel de l'Attalaye and the city of Marmelade.
Marmelade is the home town of Président René Préval.
During the years following his first tenure, Préval initiated rural development projects in Marmelade,including a manufacture of bamboo furniture.
