Marlton Circle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Marlton Circle is a traffic circle in the Marlton section of Evesham Township, located at the intersection of Route 70 and Route 73. Congestion has plagued this intersection for years, routinely backing up as far as a mile on summer afternoons. Route 73 passes through the center of the circle.
In recent years, plans have been made to eliminate the circle and replace it with an overpass over Route 70. Construction has yet to begin, however, work on the project may begin by 2009. Many residents and businesses are opposing this idea because it may require some businesses to move, plus traffic congestion will dramatically increase.[1]
