Marlin Eller is a programmer who was a manager and a software developer at Microsoft Corporation from 1982-1995, and he was development lead for GDI (subsystem of Windows 1.0) and also for Pen Windows.[1][2] He was also a co-founder and the CEO of Sunhawk Digital Music LLC.[3] He is currently the chairman of the game development company called Reflexive Entertainment.[4]
Marlin Eller also co-authored the book "Barbarians Led by Bill Gates" with Jennifer Edstrom. However, Eller was not very pleased with the published book. Edstrom gave the book a slant against Microsoft that had not been Eller's intent at all. He had never wanted the book to deal quite so harshly with Bill Gates.
Marlin Eller received his Bachelor of Art in Mathematics from Whitman College in 1974. He then went on for his Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Washington. [5]
