Marliana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pistoia in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 40 km northwest of Florence and about 12 km west of Pistoia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,096 and an area of 43.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Marliana contains the frazione (subdivision) Panicagliora.
Marliana borders the following municipalities: Massa e Cozzile, Montecatini-Terme, Pescia, Pistoia, Piteglio, Serravalle Pistoiese.
