Marlene Callahan (born August 24, 1937 in Ventura, California) is an American model, actress and photographer. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the November 1957 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Vivienne Lapham.
Callahan's post-Playboy fame has come for her acclaimed photography, most of which has been done under the name Marlene Wallace. She is one of the most renowned portrait photographers of her time; among her famous subjects have been Jimmy Carter, Kobe Bryant, Teri Hatcher, Anthony Quinn, Maya Angelou, Beatrice Wood and even Hugh Hefner. She is the author of two books of her photography, and her work has been published in magazines such as Time, Vanity Fair, Fortune and Architectural Digest. Her photos also have been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution.
