Marla Shapiro

Dr. Marla Shapiro, MDCM, CCFP, MHSc, FRCP(C), [1] is a Canadian medical reporter for Canada AM and CTV Newsnet since 2000 and a practicing doctor, author and a contributing columnist to The Globe and Mail. A graduate of McGill University, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and a was featured in a television special about her experience.
