Markus Fristedt aka Mark Black, born November 27, 1972, is a Swedish Heavy Metal guitarist, formerly of Dream Evil. Mark has played in a variety of tribute bands, such as Kung Diamant and Plantera. It was while playing in the former of these two that he was noticed by Snowy Shaw and Fredrik Nordström of Dream Evil, who invited him to join their band after Gus G. departed in 2004.[1]

Mark has also played in a band called Ton of Bricks with Heed guitarist Martin Andersson.

He made his professional recording debut on the 2006 Dream Evil album United.
