Marko Tomas is a Croatian professional basketball player born on January 3, 1985, in Koprivnica (SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia). Currently he is a member of Real Madrid from Spain.

Capable of playing as a forward or point guard, Tomas height and strength allow him post up and rebound very efficiently. Tomas is very good all-round player with solid athletic abilities, and should be considered one of the best shooting prospects. Marko is a player who possesses great knowledge of the game and a high basketball IQ. His height and reach make him a threat in one-on-ones. He is one of Europe greatest basketball talents. Currently he is a member of Real Madrid where he was sent to Fuenlabrada on loan to gain experience on 2007-08 season. He won the gold medal with his National Basketball Team on European Junior Championship in 2002. In 2007 with his club, Real Madrid, he won the Spanish League and ULEB Cup titles. He was part of the Croatian national basketball team at Eurobasket 2005 and Eurobasket 2007.
