It is an architectural wonder that we can watch the Sun rays falling directly from the Gopuram on to the main deity of Chennakesava in the month of December every year. Those who see this wonder will have no option except to praise the engineering skills exhibited by the Architects of Krishna Devaraya period during which it was constructed. - DVS Subrahmanyam (An old student of Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari college - 1969)
