Mark Zabel (born August 12, 1973 in Calbe) is a retired German flatwater canoer and Surfski Champion. As a member of Germany's successful K-4 kayak crew he won three Olympic medals, including gold at Atlanta in 1996, as well as a total of six world championship gold medals.
Zabel retired in July 2005 and has now become a coach. He is 190 cm tall and raced at 86 kg (189 lbs).
