Mark Thomas Valley (born December 24, 1964) is an American actor.

Born in Ogdensburg, New York, Valley is a 1987 graduate of the United States Military Academy and served in Operation Desert Storm.[citation needed]

He is best known to fans as "Brad Chase", the put-upon attorney constantly belittled by Alan Shore (played by James Spader) on Boston Legal, a spinoff of the television series The Practice. In Boston Legal, his character also served in the Gulf War, possibly a reference to Valley also serving in the Gulf War.

Other roles of Valley's include the popular Jack Deveraux on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives from 1994 to 1997. In 2003, Valley landed the role of "Det. Eddie Arlette", an American police officer in London, on Keen Eddie. The show, however, was canceled by Fox TV during its first season. He has also appeared on the television series ER as Richard Lockhart, Abby Lockhart's ex. He has been rumored to be a possible Captain America in the upcoming film.
