In 2007, Mark was the General Manager, Head Coach and contibuted as a player for the San Antonio Steers of the National Indoor Football League. He is one of only two players in professional football history to serve his team as a general manager, head coach and a player (Former NFL QB John Fourcade also served as the GM, Head Coach and as a player for the Mississippi Fire Dogs of the NIFL in 2001) |
Mark Ricker is a professional football player and coach. He has played and coached for several professional football teams. Ricker has played professional indoor football for the Waco Marshals and the San Antonio Steers of the National Indoor Football League. He has also played professionally for the Texas Thunder and the Wichita Falls Diablos of the American Professional Football League.[1]
As a professional coach, Ricker served as the General Manager and Head Coach for the San Antonio Steers. He was also on the staff of the San Antonio Matadors of the Spring Football League.
