Mark Pirro

Mark Pirro is a Dallas-based musician, bass player in The Polyphonic Spree, and former member of Tripping Daisy. He is also the inventor and manufacturer of the copperphone.

The copperphone in August of 2004 shut down DFW airport when one of Mark's copperphone's were discovered. It was later identified as just a microphone. A Dallas paper wrote about the incident. http://www.dallasobserver.com/2004-08-12/music/together-we-re-suspects/
