Mark Parkinson (Missouri politician)

Mark A. Parkinson (born October 30, 1972) is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives. He resides in St. Charles, Missouri, with his wife, Brigit.

He was born in St. Charles, graduating from Francis Howell High School. He went on to receive a B.A. degree in political science from Saint Louis University in 2000. He spent seven years as the deputy district director for the St. Louis office of U.S. Senator Kit Bond. One of his primary responsibilities included conducting Senator Bond's Listening Post program in 17 counties in Northeast Missouri.

He was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in a February 2008 special election to replace Carl Bearden, and is a member of the following committees:

  • Transportation
  • Special Committee on Tax Reform, and
  • Special Committee on Financial Institutions
