Mark Palansky

Mark Palansky is an American film director and screenwriter. He worked on several small projects before taking over as director of Penelope with Reese Witherspoon and Christina Ricci. Palansky got his start as the assistant to well known director, Michael Bay. Mark specifically assisted Bay on his films, Pearl Harbor and Armegeddon. He recently worked as the second unit director on the Bay action films, The Amityville Horror and The Island.[1] His directorial debut, Penelope, received early critical acclaim and was able to earn a certified fresh label on Rotten Tomatoes.[2]
