Mark Lugo

Mark Lugo is a screenwriter residing in Palm Beach County, Florida. He wrote the screenplay Sportsbook. Lugo is currently working on ethnic children's textbooks. Lugo has completed two documentaries on Latin American prostitution and life after deportation, the Steven Gonzalez story. Lugo continues to lend he marketing talents to international marketing companies throughout Latin America as a consultant. Recently, Lugo worked in Las Vegas alongside ESPN Deportes on the World Dominoes Tournament 2005. He is also developing 2 extreme sports shows.
Lugo was born in the Bronx on January 13, 1969 and resided in New York City until 1990. In the Summer of 1990, Lugo moved to Miami Beach and study at a popular Miami university. In August of 1992, after Hurricane Andrew, Lugo moved to Palm Beach county. Lugo organized music concerts and special events in the South Florida area and Jacksonville area until 1998. In late 1998, Lugo co-founded an online urban apparel clothing company. He also owned and operated an advertising, web and design firm in Boca Raton, Florida.
Mark Lugo has been developing an international restaurant business since 2005 in Central America. The business is a family-fun themed restaurant chain consisting of at least 5 restaurants throughout Panama City and Costa Rica. "Our focus is children entertainment and sports for the young people", Lugo said. In June 2007, Lugo announced that he has begun working on producing a new entertainment variety show for the Central American market entitled"Glamour TV". The first episode features appearances from Casper Martinez, April Lee Hernandez, Luis Guzman and many other Latino Hollywood movies stars.
Lugo has signed on with MMA cage fighting promoter Titans of the Pentagon to produce the Titans' September 22, 2007 fight between Dan "The Beast" Severn and Mark "The Bear" Smith in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Lugo through First Flight Out TV Productions inked a deal to produce and direct El Ultimo Peleador, a reality TV show capturing the life of 16 MMA professional fighters from Central and South America competing to become the series first season's champion. The series is being taped all in Spanish language.
