Mark Kenneth Woods

Mark Kenneth Woods (born September 8, 1977) is a Canadian writer, actor, producer and director.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Mark Kenneth Woods is a prolific media artist, writer and actor who works in film, video and television. Drawing from feminist, queer and post-colonial theory, his works in both TV and film often combine comedy and parody with ideas about gender, sexuality and race.

He is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School, the University of Toronto’s cinema studies program and also holds a Master’s degree in communication and cultural studies from York University in Toronto. He has also taught at the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.

Woods is currently producing, directing, writing and acting on his second TV series, the House of Venus Show on OUTtv, OUTTV Netherlands, Pink TV and here!. He has also recently completed his first feature film "Deb and Sisi".

He is openly gay[1] and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
