Mark Howard (born 21 September 1986) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper, currently playing with SPL club St. Mirren[1].

Howard started out at Arsenal, though he never made an appearance for the first team. He was loaned to Scottish Premier League club Falkirk in January of 2006, where he made eight appearances. After his loan period ended in the summer, he was released by Arsenal. He was offered a permanent contract with Falkirk, but instead decided to join Cardiff City.[1] Mark had previously joined Swansea City for an initial 1 month period on the 19 January 2007.[2]

Whilst playing for Cardiff, he made 2 appearances: against The New Saints in an FAW Premier Cup match and against Barnet in a Carling Cup match. In each of these games, he blundered, and Cardiff were sent crashing out of both competitions. He therefore gained a reputation as being unreliable. He was released by the club a the end of the 2006/07 season and joined St. Mirren.

He made his St. Mirren debut on the 13 February 2008 keeping a clean sheet against Dundee United in a cup match. He made his league debut three days later as St. Mirren suffered a 4-0 defeat against Falkirk.
