Mark Davis (journalist)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark Davis is an Australian journalist best known for his work on Dateline for SBS, including hosting the program from 2003 to 2004.[1] In 2004 he was nominated for a Walkley Award for interviews with former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and Australian Attorney-General Philip Ruddock.
In the host's chair of Dateline he was preceded by "the perfumed steamroller", Jana Wendt.
Davis still serves the programme as video journalist (2007), primarily covering South Pacific affairs. He also has occasionally filled in for George Negus as host of Dateline.
