Mark Bunn (born November 16, 1984) is an English footballer.

He is a goalkeeper for Northampton Town, and wears the no.1 shirt. He made his first team debut in a 3-0 victory over QPR in the first round of the League Cup in August 2005. Bunn was given his league debut by then manager John Gorman against Nottingham Forest in August 2006. Bunn made his 100th appearance for the club in a 2-0 victory over Oldham Athletic F.C. on April 19, 2008. His impressive performances ousted long term first choice keeper Lee Harper, who subsequently left Sixfields for MK Dons, and Bunn has been the first choice keeper since.

He has saved two penalties in his career, against Rotherham United and Tranmere Rovers. On April 27, 2007, Bunn won the Northampton Town player of the season award finishing ahead of Jason Crowe who was 2nd, and Chris Doig who finished 3rd. Bunn also won the Sixfields boys forum player of the season 2006/07.

Colin Calderwood, Bunn's former manager at Northampton Town and current manager of Nottingham Forest made an inquiry about signing the young goalkeeper in July 2007 with apparent interest also coming from Nottingham Forest's East Midlands rivals Derby County.[1]

Bunn is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers outside the premiership and interest has been shown from a number of top flight clubs. He is widely expected to go onto bigger and better things in the next few years.
