From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark Barnard (born November 3, 1967) is a South African-born Namibian cricketer. Between 1994 and 1997 he represented Namibia in seven ICC Trophy matches. His debut in the ICC Trophy came against Israel in 1994, where Namibia ran out winners by 59 runs.
Generally speaking, Barnard's position within his team's starting XI was very flexible, during his first match, he held the position of tailender. When his time came to truly shine, during the early spring of 1997, his position fluctuated from opener to around seventh or eighth in the batting order.
Barnard aided Namibia to fifteenth place in the ICC Trophy in 1996/97.
