Marjorie Cohn

Marjorie Cohn is Professor of Law at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California, and president of the National Lawyers Guild.[1][2]

She is known mostly for her columns commenting on legal issues involving the Bush administration. Her weekly columns appear in AlterNet, Counterpunch, CommonDreams, After Downing Street, ZNet, and GlobalResearch. Beyond that, she is a commentator for the BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR and Pacifica Radio. Aside from these, activities she lectures throughout the world on human rights and US foreign policy.[1]

  • 2005: Service to Legal Education Award by the San Diego County Bar Association.
  • 2006: One of San Diego’s Top Attorneys in Academics.
  • 2007: Bernard E. Witkin, Esq. Award for Excellence in the Teaching of the Law by the San Diego Law Library Justice Foundation.
