Marius Marian Croitoru, (born October 2, 1980 in Giurgiu), is a Romanian football player. He possesses a very powerful shot and has good technique. He can also take free kicks very well. At the end of 2007, the midfielder was axed from the first team and has been linked with a host of teams: Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona F.C., Gloria Buzău, Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ and Politehnica Iaşi. In the end, he was loaned to Ceahlăul Piatra Neamţ [1]

Prior to 2007, when Croitoru joined Steaua, he played for Turistul Bucureşti, FCM Bacău and FC Vaslui.
In the first part of Liga I 2006-2007 season, he and Viorel Frunză were the key-players for FC Vaslui.
