Marius Žaliūkas (born November 10, 1983, in Kuršėnai) is a Lithuanian footballer, currently on a season-long loan at Scottish Premier League club Hearts from FBK Kaunas.

He started his career with Inkaras Kaunas before joining city rivals FBK Kaunas. He spent a season with FK Šilutė before returning to Kaunas to claim a regular first team position.

Žaliūkas was loaned to Hearts for the 2006-07, making his debut on 26 August 2006 in a 4-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He scored his first goal for the Tynecastle club in a 2-2 draw against St. Mirren in December 2006. On April 1 2007, he earned hero status amongst Hearts fans after scoring a late winner against city rivals Hibernian at Easter Road. This marked the first time that Hearts had won at Easter Road since November 2002, discounting the 2003 Festival Cup.

He has made a positive effect in the centre of defence replacing former captain, Steven Pressley. His performances have led to the Hearts faithful hoping he stays on for the 2007/08 campaign and beyond.
